Christine,
Since this is a pdf it will be difficult to work with. We can easily
recreate the ad but it would be helpful to have the Connectl logo.
Otherwise, we will need a copy of the ad as a jpg, eps, quark or word
document.
Thanks.

Shoreham, NY- For the six residents of Maryhaven’s newest group home in the making, the last few months have marked a chronology of special graduations.
First, they earned a gold-trimmed diploma from the Maryhaven School last summer. Soon they will have a new room in which to hang it.
Following extensive renovations, landscaping, and final approvals by state and town agencies, the sextet have plans to move into their spacious Shoreham farm-ranch style house in late 2004. That move will mark their graduation into Maryhaven’s Community Residential Services Division for adults.
Lisa Difranco, Admissions Coordinator at Community Residential Services, said the residents, some of whom have already toured the home, are looking forward to moving day. "They are all eager to move into their new place," she said. "I think they are really going to enjoy the independence they will find in the new environment."
The 4,890 square-foot house which boasts a large kitchen, den, family room, built-in pool, sunroom, and six bedrooms will be the 25th residential home Community Residential Services has opened since group homes became commonplace in the 70’s and 80’s. In addition to group homes, Community Residential Services also operates 17 apartments, serving over 250 individuals in homes throughout Suffolk County.
"Providing happy home environments is one of the most satisfying things we do here," said Donna C. Smith, Maryhaven Division Director of Community Residential Services. "Our goals and philosophy are rooted in assisting residents to attain their highest level of independence and to live active and fulfilling lives."
Opening a new home, however, is a complex process. Real Estate on Long Island, including vacant land is increasingly in demand and difficult to locate. With the assistance of the local New York State OMRDD office and Governor George Pataki’s continued support for development of residential options, Maryhaven continues to strive to provide residential opportunities, in keeping with our agency mission.
The Community Residential Services Division is fortunate to have a great team with many skilled and resourceful staff who transforms these opportunities into reality. It is indeed their commitment that makes it all possible.
